An SDGs project that revitalizes the “true value” of objects and the “potential” of people.
We transform unused kimonos and other resources into products with new value (upcycled goods) through the handiwork of local seniors, artisans, and people with disabilities.
This initiative is not only an environmental conservation effort aimed at reducing waste but also a platform for vocational skills development and job creation that provides creators with a sense of fulfillment and an economic role.
Furthermore, we plan to reinvest a portion of the profits generated by this project—primarily in Yamaguchi Prefecture but also domestically and internationally—to improve educational environments and support self-reliance, thereby contributing to the creation of a “harmonious future” that transcends national borders.
From Yamaguchi to the world, we will foster a cycle where the future is born from this concept of “MOTTAINAI.”
